The new Collector Systems mobile app has officially arrived.

Over the past several months, our team has rebuilt the app from the ground up on a modern technical foundation designed to support the next generation of features and improvements planned for Collector Systems. While much of this work happened behind the scenes, the result is a faster, smoother, and more flexible mobile experience built for the future.

This release introduces four redesigned list views, including a new larger-image view that makes browsing collections more visual and intuitive while improving navigation throughout the app. Users will also notice stronger overall performance from the moment the app opens, helping collections teams work more efficiently whether they are conducting inventories, updating locations, reviewing objects, or completing condition reports in the field.

Beyond the visual and performance improvements, this rebuild gives Collector Systems a much stronger technical foundation moving forward. It allows our team to develop and release new mobile features and enhancements more quickly, ensuring the app continues to evolve alongside the needs of museums, archives, and collections professionals.

The updated app is now available on both the App Store and Google Play. We recommend enabling automatic updates on your device to ensure you always have access to the latest improvements and new features.

For iPhone and iPad users: go to Settings > App Store > turn on App Updates.
For Android users: open Google Play > tap your profile icon > Settings > Network Preferences > Auto-update apps.
